 GLENDALE, Ariz. (AP) -The Phoenix Coyotes assigned right wing Bill Thomas to their American Hockey League affiliate on Sunday.
The 24-year-old appeared in four games for the Coyotes after being recalled from the San Antonio Rampage on Dec. 1. He signed with the Coyotes as a free agent in 2006.
Last season, Thomas had eight goals and six assists in 24 games for the Coyotes. The Pittsburgh native has nine goals and eight assists in 37 career NHL games.
