ST. PAUL, Minn. (AP) -The Minnesota Wild placed defenseman Marek Zidlicky on injured reserve Wednesday and recalled right wing Cal Clutterbuck from Houston.
Zidlicky was a prize free agent for Minnesota, but he injured his right ankle on Sept. 26. He did not make the road trip to Atlanta with the team on Tuesday.
The move is retroactive to the injury, so he'll miss at least a week under league rules.
Clutterbuck played in two games with the Wild last year. He had 11 goals and 13 assists for Houston.
