2, Calgary traded its 2008 first-round draft pick (17th overall) and 2009 second-round draft pick to Los Angeles for C Mike Cammalleri and the Kings' 2008 second-round draft pick (48th overall, previously acquired).
3, Anaheim traded Edmonton's 2008 first-round draft pick (12th overall, previously acquired) to Los Angeles for Calgary's 2008 first-round draft pick (17th overall, previously acquired) and Dallas' 2008 first-round draft pick (28th overall, previously acquired).
4, Columbus traded Colorado's 2008 first-round draft pick (19th overall, previously acquired) and the Blue Jackets' 2008 third-round draft pick (67th overall) to Philadelphia for C R.J. Umberger and the Flyers' 2008 fourth-round draft pick (118th overall).
5, Calgary traded LW Alex Tanguay and its 2008 fifth-round draft pick (138th overall) to Montreal for the Canadiens' 2008 first-round draft pick (25th overall) and 2009 second-round draft pick.
6, N.Y. Islanders traded their 2008 first-round draft pick (fifth overall) to Toronto for the Maple Leafs' 2008 first-round draft pick (seventh overall) and, at the Islanders' option: either Pittsburgh's 2008 second-round draft pick (60th overall, previously acquired) and Toronto's 2009 third-round draft pick; or Toronto's 2008 third-round draft pick (68th overall) and Toronto's 2009 second-round draft pick.
