RALEIGH, N.C. (AP) - Vincent Lecavalier is back for the Tampa Bay Lightning.
The Lightning captain took part in warmups before Thursday night's game at Carolina and was listed on the playing roster.
He missed nine games with an unspecified lower body injury, and Tampa Bay went 4-4-1 in his absence.
This will be Lecavalier's first game under new coach Jon Cooper, who was hired March 25 to replace the fired Guy Boucher.
Lecavalier has seven goals and 22 points in 26 games. He was hurt March 12 in a win at Florida.
