COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) -Blue Jackets center Dan Fritsche will miss the rest of the regular season after breaking his hand in a game at Detroit.
Fritsche, who has 10 goals and 12 assists in 69 games this season, was injured in the second period of Columbus' 3-1 loss to the Red Wings on Wednesday night.
The Blue Jackets recalled forward Alexandre Picard on Thursday from Syracuse of the AHL. He had seven goals and 11 assists in 47 games with Syracuse this season, after missing the first 18 games due to a knee injury.
