DETROIT (AP) - Chicago Blackhawks coach Joel Quenneville says goaltender Corey Crawford will start Sunday against the Detroit Red Wings. Crawford left his last game with an upper-body injury. He played in only the first period of Thursday night's win at St. Louis. Ray Emery relieved Crawford against the Blues and finished off a 3-0 shutout. Quenneville insists Crawford's latest injury isn't the same one that took him off the ice previously this season. Emery played and Crawford was a reserve on the bench Friday night in a 4-3 overtime win over Columbus that extended the Blackhawks' NHL-record, season-opening points streak to 21 games. Emery is 8-0 as a starter and ranks among NHL leaders with in save percentage and goals-against average. |
