ST. PAUL, Minn. (AP) -Minnesota Wild goalie Josh Harding will miss the team’s next game because of his hip injury.
Harding received a cortisone shot on Friday and won’t be on the ice for a few days. The Wild host the Philadelphia Flyers on Saturday, and coach Todd Richards says rookie Anton Khudobin (an-TAHN’ koo-DOH’-bin) will start. Niklas Backstrom is also still out.
Harding made a highlight-reel diving save of a dangerous shot by Edmonton with the Wild and Oilers tied midway through the third period of Wednesday’s game.
Harding had to leave, and Khudobin came in to get the victory in his first career NHL game.
