ANAHEIM, Calif. (AP) -The Anaheim Ducks have signed Jonas Hiller to a four-year contract extension that will keep the goalie around through the 2013-14 season.
The team wouldn’t disclose the terms of the contract announced Saturday.
The 27-year-old Hiller, who will play for Switzerland at the Vancouver Olympics, was slated to become an unrestricted free agent July 1.
He’s posted a 54-37-5 record with a 2.46 goals-against average and .919 save percentage in 108 career NHL appearances with the Ducks.
Hiller is 21-15-1 this season with a 2.75 GAA and .916 save percentage in 39 appearances.
