Stanley Cup Final Game 3 Odds
CHICAGO, IL (TheSpread) – After two competitive games in Tampa, the Stanley Cup Final moves to Chicago where the Chicago Blackhawks will host the Tampa Bay Lightning at 8PM ET in Game 3.
Tampa Bay is 63-33-8 overall and 25-19-7 on the road while Chicago is 61-33-7 overall and 31-13-5 at home. The Lightning evened the series at 1-1 with a 4-3 victory at home on Saturday. These two have had a pair of one-goal games thus far, hitting the over once and the under once. The Lightning has actually won seven of its last nine meetings with the Blackhawks.
According to oddsmakers at the online sports book Bovada.lv, Chicago is favored in tonight’s Game 3, as the Blackhawks are getting odds of -150 to win, while the Lightning is getting a money line of +140 to prevail. The over/under total for the game has been set at 5 goals.
The Lightning managed to hold off the Blackhawks for a 4-3 victory on Saturday in Game 2. Tampa was able to win despite its goalie, Ben Bishop, having to leave the game in the third period with a suspected injury. Rookie Andrei Vasilevskiy had to step in and made five saves over the final nine minutes of play to keep Tamps in the lead. Jason Garrison and Nikita Kucherov each had a goal and an assist to lead the Lightning in the win.
