Chicago is the top seed in the West and for the whole playoffs. The Blackhawks beat the Wild in five games to start the playoffs and just closed out the Red Wings in seven games to reach the Western finals. The Blackhawks last won the Stanley Cup in 2010.

The Bruins are the fourth seed in the East. Boston beat the Maple Leafs in seven games to start the playoffs and followed that up with a five-game series win over the Rangers. Boston won the Stanley Cup in 2011.

The Kings are the fifth seed in the West and the defending Stanley Cup champions. Los Angeles beat the Blues in six games to start its playoff run, and then the Kings beat the Sharks in seven games to reach the Western Conference Finals.
