Blackhawks now favored to win Cup
LAS VEGAS, NV (The Spread) – Following their epic Game 2 victory over the Ducks in Anaheim, the Blackhawks are now favored by oddsmakers to win the 2015 Stanley Cup.
The Blackhawks won the longest game in team history on Tuesday night when they defeated the Ducks 3-2 in a game that included a header goal that wasn’t, 118 shots on goal and multiple missed opportunities on both sides. Goaltender Corey Crawford finished with 60 saves while Marcus Kruger netted the game-winner off a Brent Seabrook shot 16:12 into the third overtime.
According to oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv, the Blackhawks are now 9/4 favorites to win the 2015 Stanley Cup. The Rangers, meanwhile, are 5/2 to win the Cup while the Ducks are 11/4 and the Lightning are 13/4. Both Conference Finals series are tied at a game apiece.
On Wednesday night the Lightning will host the Rangers at 8:00PM ET in when the Eastern Conference Finals shifts to Tampa and on Thursday the Hawks will host the Ducks in Chicago at 8:00PM ET.
