HOUSTON (AP) -Andre Johnson will play in his hometown of Miami for the first time since his NFL debut in what Houston’s star receiver believes is the most important game in franchise history.
The Texans have never been to the playoffs or even finished with a winning record. They still have a chance to do both, but if they don’t beat the Dolphins on Sunday, all hope disappears.
Houston is 7-7 and needs a win and a loss by either Denver or Baltimore this weekend to stay in the wild-card hunt.
The Texans have won two straight to break out of a four-game losing streak. Johnson has been the key to Houston’s recent success, finishing with more than 190 yards receiving in both wins.
