DENVER (AP) -The Denver Bronocs have signed fourth-year tackle D’Anthony Batiste to the practice squad.
The Broncos made the announcement Wednesday. The 6-foot-4, 314-pound Batiste has played in 12 games, including eight this season with the Washington Redskins.
Batiste started this season with the Redskins and was inactive the first four games before replacing Chris Samuels. He was waived Dec. 15.
Batiste entered the NFL with Dallas in 2006 as an undrafted free agent out of Louisiana-Lafayette. He joined Carolina as a rookie, was waived by the Panthers at the start of the 2007 season, and was acquired by Atlanta. He joined Washington’s active roster last December after the Falcons waived him.
