LANDOVER, Md. (AP) -Washington Redskins running back Clinton Portis left Sunday’s game against the Philadelphia Eagles for part of one drive with a bruised hand.
Portis went to the sideline in the second quarter during a Redskins possession that resulted in a field goal. Before going out, he had nine carries for 32 yards.
He returned on Washington’s next possession, late in the first half, and gained 14 yards on his next carry.
