NEW YORK (AP) - Comments on the Philadelphia Eagles by the AP Pro32 panel (ranking in parentheses):
---
PHILADELPHIA EAGLES (27)
Chris Berman (ESPN, 26) - At long last, the smile for Andy Reid.
Clifton Brown (Sporting News, 27) - Playing out the string, but Nick Foles is gaining experience.
Cris Collinsworth (NBC Sports, 27)
Rich Gannon (CBS Sports/SiriusXM NFL Radio, 26) - Like what I see from Nick Foles, great opportunity for the rookie signal caller the rest of the way.
Bob Glauber (Newsday, 27) - Nick Foles in a terrific comeback win over the Buccaneers, winning at the buzzer and giving the Iggles some hope for the future.
Rick Gosselin (Dallas Morning News, 25) - Nick Foles isn't the rushing threat of Michael Vick at quarterback but he's a more accurate passer. He also takes better care of the football.
Clark Judge (CBSSports.com, 27) - So the Eagles cost themselves a couple of draft spots with an unexpected win. They may have found a quarterback in Nick Foles.
Ira Kaufman (Tampa Tribune, 27) - In the midst of a lost year, they may have found their quarterback.
Pat Kirwan (SiriusXM NFL Radio/CBSSports.com, 26) - They may have found their next QB in Nick Foles and that's a big step in righting the ship. They could play the spoiler role the rest of the way with Cincinnati, Washington and the Giants still on the schedule.
John Lynch (Fox Sports, 26) - The Eagles competed as well and hard as they have all year in Tampa led by rookie QB Nick Foles who led a game-winning TD drive that he capped off with walk-off TD to Jeremy Maclin.
Alex Marvez (Foxsports.com, 28) - With a 381-yard passing performance and the game-winning touchdown toss as time expired, Eagles rookie quarterback Nick Foles staked his claim for the starting job entering 2013 in last Sunday's 23-21 win at Tampa Bay.
Dan Pompei (Chicago Tribune, 27) - Nick Foles has begun making his argument for why he should be the Eagles' staring QB in 2013.
