NEW YORK (AP) - Comments on the Denver Broncos by the AP Pro32 panel (ranking in parentheses):
---
DENVER BRONCOS (2)
Chris Berman (ESPN, 3) - Eight in a row and counting.
Clifton Brown (Sporting News, 5) - Knowshon Moreno is running like he's back in college at Georgia.
Cris Collinsworth (NBC Sports, 2)
Rich Gannon (CBS Sports/SiriusXM NFL Radio, 2) - Offense is good, but so is their defense, which is currently ranked fourth.
Bob Glauber (Newsday, 2) - The MVP tour rolls on for Peyton Manning, who has won eight straight, but only two against teams currently with winning records. Huge test in Baltimore this week.
Rick Gosselin (Dallas Morning News, 1) - Peyton Manning is making his pitch for a record fourth NFL MVP award. He has steered Denver to eight consecutive victories and thrown 19 TD passes during that stretch.
Clark Judge (CBSSports.com, 2) - Let's see, the Broncos have defense, momentum and Peyton Manning. Yep, I'd say that makes them Super Bowl worthy.
Ira Kaufman (Tampa Tribune, 2) - Amid all the Manning chatter, no AFC defense has allowed fewer points.
Pat Kirwan (SiriusXM NFL Radio/CBSSports.com, 2) - Peyton Manning and company are in high gear right now and the long rest after a Thursday night win is just what the doctor ordered. Knowshon Moreno has picked up the slack for the loss of Willis McGahee.
John Lynch (Fox Sports, 2) - The Broncos took care of business on a short week against the Raiders and will gladly use the extra time to get healthy and ready to travel to Baltimore.
Alex Marvez (Foxsports.com, 2) - A win Sunday at Baltimore would go a long way toward keeping Denver's hopes for a first-round playoff bye alive. The Broncos would lose head-to-head tiebreakers against Houston and New England because of early season losses.
Dan Pompei (Chicago Tribune, 2) - They need to beat the Ravens in order to keep their hopes alive for a first round playoff bye.
