JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (AP) - The attorney representing the man accused of shooting Jacksonville Jaguars offensive lineman Richard Collier will receive the addresses of the wounded player and two other witnesses, but they will be withheld from her client and the public.
Circuit Judge Hugh Carithers told defense attorney Ann Finnell that the addresses would be provided to her office, but she is not to share the information with Tyrone Romaro Hartsfield, 32, who is charged with attempter murder in the Sept. 2 shooting of Richard Collier. Collier was shot 14 times. He had to have his left leg amputated and he is paralyzed below the waist.
Assistant State Attorney Bernie de la Rionda has opposed releasing the information without the restrictions.
``It is a safety problem. Two of them provided information to the state of Florida,'' he said.
sed under the same condition as the addresses.
At the request of Finnell, a bond hearing was set for Dec. 18.
Since his arrest on Oct. 18, Hartsfield has been held without bond.
