BRISTOW, Va. (AP) – Washington Redskins owner Dan Snyder is having to preach a familiar theme – patience – as his team endures another circus of a season.
Snyder held one of his rare sessions with reporters Thursday at a dedication ceremony at the Youth for Tomorrow campus founded by former Redskins coach Joe Gibbs.
Snyder says he’s “frustrated” that the Redskins are 5-7 and that he wishes things had worked out better with defensive tackle Albert Haynesworth, who was suspended for the rest of the season earlier this week.
Snyder says he feels the organization is making progress in its first year under coach Mike Shanahan and asks fans to “have a little patience.”
