EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. (AP) -When the New York Giants grabbed Jason Pierre-Paul in the first round of the draft, general manager Jerry Reese said the defensive end had the biggest upside of any player in the draft.
The so-called “Freak” out of South Florida had size, speed, strength and determination. The only question was how long would it take him to put it all together?
The answer seemingly is less than a season.
