HOUSTON (AP) -Sage Rosenfels threw a 31-yard touchdown pass to Andre Johnson, Kris Brown kicked a 38-yard field goal and the Houston Texans led the Jacksonville Jaguars 10-0 after two quarters on Monday night.
Jacksonville wasted an opportunity to get on the scoreboard when Josh Scobee missed a 43-yard field-goal try with 9:56 left in the first half.

The Texans set up for a 21-yard field goal in the last minute of the half. But holder Matt Turk bobbled a bad snap from Bryan Pittman and threw a pass out of the end zone.
Rosenfels made his fourth consecutive start in place of Matt Schaub, who’s been out with a left knee injury but was active for the game.
The Texans took the opening kickoff and Rosenfels found Johnson for a 12-yard gain on Houston’s first play from scrimmage. Johnson, third in the NFL in receiving yards, has caught a pass in 46 consecutive games.
Rookie Steve Slaton gained 26 yards on three runs before Rosenfels hit Johnson again for a touchdown with 12:04 left in the first. With the catch, Johnson set Texans records for career touchdowns (29) and points scored by a non-kicker (174).
Rosenfels and Jacksonville’s David Garrard threw interceptions on consecutive plays with just under 10 minutes left in the quarter. Rashean Mathis picked off Rosenfels and returned it to the Texans’ 44 and Jacques Reeves got it right back for Houston on a pass intended for Jerry Porter.
Rosenfels has thrown 10 interceptions this season, and Reeves leads Houston with four picks.
Brown kicked his 18th field goal of the season with 6:29 left in the first. Brown has scored in 80 consecutive games.

The Jaguars had lost four of their last five entering the game. Jacksonville beat the Texans 30-27 on Sept. 28, but had lost seven of the 13 meetings in the series.
The Texans were wearing their “Battle Red” uniforms for their first Monday night game. The city of Houston was hosting a Monday night game for the first time since Nov. 21, 1994, when the New York Giants beat the Oilers 13-10 at the Astrodome.
