ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. (AP) -Buffalo Bills receiver Stevie Johnson is laying low a day after questioning God and himself for dropping what would’ve been an overtime game-winning touchdown pass.
Johnson’s Twitter account was silent and he was the lone receiver not to make himself available to reporters in the Bills locker room Monday.
No worries, his teammates have his back.
Quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick says he’ll still keep throwing the ball to Johnson. Center Geoff Hangartner says everyone makes mistakes.
Johnson remains the focus of attention a day after dropping a 40-yard touchdown pass in a 19-16 loss to Pittsburgh. Inconsolable after the game, Johnson also raised eyebrows around the nation with a tweet wondering how God did this to him.
