 ATLANTA (AP) -Atlanta rookie receiver Laurent Robinson missed Sunday's game against Carolina with a hamstring injury while rookie left tackle Sam Baker missed his fifth straight game following back surgery.
Falcons coach Mike Smith said this week he remains hopeful Baker, who made five starts, will return this season. Baker has not participated in practice since the procedure Oct. 30 to remove herniated disc material.
Todd Weiner, slowed by a sore knee, made his fifth straight start for Baker.
Atlanta defensive tackle Kindal Moorehead missed his second straight game with a foot injury.
There were no projected starters among Carolina's inactive players.
Backup receivers D.J. Hackett, listed as the top backup to starter Steve Smith, and Kenneth Moore were held out. Defensive tackle Darwin Walker, listed as probable with a neck injury, also was held out.
