FOXBOROUGH, Mass. (AP) -The New England Patriots are jumping right into preparations for their Thanksgiving game against the Lions in Detroit.
The Patriots held a walkthrough on Monday less than 24 hours after beating the Indianapolis Colts. That 31-28 win at home left the Patriots and New York Jets tied for the AFC East lead at 8-2.
The Lions are just 2-8, but have lost several close games.
Defensive lineman Mike Wright was the only Patriots player to miss Monday’s walkthrough. He had a concussion and neck injury. Among those who participated on a limited basis were quarterback Tom Brady, running back Fred Taylor, guard Stephen Neal and defensive lineman Myron Pryor.
