DAVIE, Fla. (AP) -Linebacker Joey Porter and two other Miami Dolphins starters are sidelined with injuries as the team begins preparations to play Tampa Bay.
Porter, defensive end Phillip Merling and guard Justin Smiley worked out on stationary bikes as the team practiced Wednesday ahead of Sunday’s home game against the Buccaneers. They were joined by reserve linebacker Erik Walden.
Porter has been nursing a sore right hamstring for much of the season. The Dolphins haven’t disclosed the injuries to the other players.
Linebacker Channing Crowder (left shoulder) and nose tackle Jason Ferguson (elbow) were back at practice after missing Sunday’s loss at New England.
