INDIANAPOLIS (AP) -Defensive tackle Raheem Brock and cornerback Marlin Jackson returned to practice with the Indianapolis Colts on Friday after sitting out the two previous days with injuries.
Brock hurt his neck, while Jackson was out with a foot injury. Both starters are listed as questionable.
Coach Tony Dungy said Thursday that Jackson had received three different diagnoses on the foot this week, the first indicating he was likely to miss 1 1/2 seasons. But as the week progressed, Jackson said he felt better and explained Friday that he expected to play Sunday against San Diego.
``I told the trainer I know my body and I know how I feel,'' Jackson said. ``Early in the week, I knew I had a chance to get better. I'm going to play.''
Getting Brock and Jackson back wasn't the only good news for the Colts (7-1).
Tight end Dallas Clark (concussion) did some work after missing the two previous days, and perennial Pro Bowl receiver Marvin Harrison (bruised left knee) participated in limited work for the third straight day. Both are listed as questionable for Sunday's game.
Also back on the field, for the first time all week, was left tackle Tony Ugoh, who sat out last week's game against New England with a neck injury.
Linebackers Freddy Keiaho (ear) and Tyjuan Hagler (neck) were limited in practice for the third consecutive day and are listed as questionable, although Dungy hopes they will be available to slow down the league's reigning MVP LaDainian Tomlinson.
``They're probably going to be game-time decisions,'' Dungy said. ``Freddy and Tyjuan are in two different situations. If they're cleared to go, they'll probably go.''
Only two players - rookie receiver Anthony Gonzalez (dislocated left thumb) and backup safety Matt Giordano (hamstring) - have been ruled out of Sunday's game.
San Diego (4-4) is expected to be without defensive end Luis Castillo (ankle), who was ruled out earlier this week.
