ATLANTA (AP) -Atlanta Falcons receiver Roddy White has returned to Sunday’s game against Tampa Bay after leaving in the first half with a knee injury.
White, who came into the day leading the NFL with 56 catches, was injured in the first quarter during an 11-yard reception. He returned to the game briefly before he was taken to the locker room by a team doctor midway through the second period.
White was one of the last players to emerge from the tunnel for the second half. He worked his knee on the sideline and trotted back on for Atlanta’s first possession.
Center Todd McClure also came back in the game after leaving late in the first half with a knee injury. McClure, the longest tenured Falcon at 12 years, has made a franchise-record 136 consecutive starts.
