INDIANAPOLIS (AP) – Peyton Manning has the bumps, bruises and numbers to prove he’s played 13 seasons in the NFL.
Time certainly hasn’t taken a toll on the four-time league MVP.
As the 34-year-old quarterback prepares to make his 200th consecutive regular-season start this weekend at Philadelphia, Manning is still at the top of his game.
He’s completed nearly 66 percent of his passes, thrown 15 touchdowns with only two interceptions, and he again has the Colts in sole possession of the AFC South lead.
Teammates, of course, respect what he’s done. What impresses them most, however, is Manning’s ability to stay healthy, be consistent and continue to improve.
