TEMPE, Ariz. (AP) -Arizona Cardinals inside linebacker Karlos Dansby took part in limited practice on Thursday and said he might be able to play in another week. ``It felt great, man. I'm on track,'' Dansby said. ``I haven't had any setbacks. I'm probably a week away. I'm not sure yet, but I feel good out there running around.'' Dansby, considered the Cardinals' big-play linebacker, sprained his left knee early in the Oct. 14 game against Carolina. ``He looked good out there,'' coach Ken Whisenhunt said. ``I know the big test for him will be how it feels out there tomorrow, but it was good to see him push it.'' Starting left tackle Mike Gandy also had a limited practice and there was a chance he might be able to play Sunday at Tampa Bay. Rookie Levi Brown has shifted from left to right tackle since Gandy went down with a right calf injury against Washington on Oct. 21. ``Mike looked good today,'' Whisenhunt said. ``We still split some reps with Levi in there. We've got to make sure it progresses the rest of the week, but he did a good job today.'' |
