EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. (AP) -The Minnesota Vikings are one of two unbeaten teams left in the NFC, but they’re far from perfect.
Opponents have had success with passes underneath the coverage, and tackling in the fourth quarter of Sunday’s victory over Baltimore was especially shoddy.
The Vikings also settled for four field goals in the second half after reaching the 22-yard line, the 4, the 12 and the 14.
Coach Brad Childress was happy with the win over a tough team, but acknowledged the areas in need of improvement this week are widespread. The Vikings face back-to-back road games against Pittsburgh and Green Bay.
Cornerback Antoine Winfield has a sprained right foot.
