ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. (AP) -A planned delay of 5 minutes to correct an electrical problem interrupted the San Diego-Buffalo game Sunday.
The NFL stopped the game early in the first quarter after Marshawn Lynch’s 2-yard carry for Buffalo.
The electricity had done out at Ralph Wilson Stadium about a half-hour before the game after three helium balloons became entangled in power lines across the street from the facility.
Power was restored throughout most of the stadium within 15 minutes, although it blinked on and off just before the 1 p.m. start time. The game started on time as power had been restored throughout the stadium, but then was delayed to fix the problem.
