MINNEAPOLIS (AP) – Brett Favre says he has no expectations heading into a meeting with NFL security officials on Tuesday to discuss allegations that he sent inappropriate messages to a game day hostess while both worked for the Jets in 2008.
Commissioner Roger Goodell said on Saturday that Favre will meet with a member of the league’s security team.
Favre was asked about the meeting after his Minnesota Vikings defeated Dallas 24-21 on Sunday.
The quarterback said, “I’m concerned about the next game. I’ll let that take its course.”
Despite being listed as questionable with elbow tendinitis, Favre started his 290th straight game. He was 14 of 19 for 118 yards with one touchdown in the victory.
