FLORHAM PARK, N.J. (AP) – Despite some mistakes, blown plays and missed opportunities, the New York Jets still found a way to win again.
As imperfect as these Jets have been through five games, they’re still tied for the NFL lead with four wins and impressing their opponents on a weekly basis. After New York beat Minnesota 29-20 on Monday night, Brett Favre called the Jets “the best team in the AFC.”
The Jets are winning without having everything clicking, and Rex Ryan says that’s a promising sign. He says Tuesday that when New York’s players get healthy and the team’s confidence increases, the Jets are “going to be right there.”
While Favre nearly led the Vikings back on one of his classic comebacks, the defense clamped down at the end.
