CLEVELAND (AP) – Browns quarterback Jake Delhomme is not starting for the fourth straight game because of an ankle injury.
Seneca Wallace will start again Sunday against Atlanta in place of Delhomme, who sprained his right ankle in Cleveland’s season opener Sept. 12 against Tampa Bay. Delhomme will be the backup as Wallace, who has gone 1-2 in his three starts, faces the Falcons.
Delhomme had been inactive for the Browns’ previous three games. He practiced all week and was hopeful he would be able to go against Atlanta, a team he knows well after playing seven seasons with Carolina.
