OWINGS MILLS, Md. (AP) – Baltimore Ravens running back Ray Rice says his bruised right knee should not prevent him from playing Sunday against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Rice acknowledged that the final decision will be left to Ravens coach John Harbaugh. But Rice says he is “sure I’ll be ready to play.”
Rice injured his knee in the fourth quarter of Sunday’s 24-17 win over the Cleveland Browns. An MRI revealed no ligament or cartilage damage.
Now in his third NFL season, Rice made the Pro Bowl last year and currently leads the Ravens in yards rushing.
