ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. (AP) -The injuries keep piling up on the Buffalo Bills, who could be missing as many as six starters – including three-quarters of their defensive backfield – for their game at Miami this weekend.
Cornerback Leodis McKelvin (broken leg) and safeties Donte Whitner (thumb) and Bryan Scott (high ankle sprain) missed practice Wednesday after they were hurt in a 27-7 loss against New Orleans last weekend. Also missing practice were starting defensive tackle Kyle Williams and starting offensive tackle Demetrius Bell, who are both nursing groin injuries.
Whitner and Scott aren’t likely to play this weekend, while Scott’s status is unknown. As for Williams and Bell, Jauron would only say that both players will be evaluated through the week.
