RENTON, Wash. (AP) – With the return of Chester Pitts and Russell Okung to practice this week, the Seattle Seahawks offensive line is moving closer to having the lineup expected at the start of the season.
It just happens to be coming in Week 4.
Seahawks coach Pete Carroll said Wednesday that Pitts and Okung will be a go in practice this week. Pitts will see action at left guard while Okung, Seattle’s top draft pick, will work in at left tackle.
It’ll be the end of the week before the Seahawks know if either will be able to play Sunday at St. Louis. But for Carroll, it’s an important step in gaining the continuity he wants from his offensive line.
