SEATTLE (AP) -Quarterback Matt Hasselbeck is out with a broken rib, one of seven starters missing for the Seattle Seahawks against the Chicago Bears.
The 34-year-old did not practice all week after getting hurt last weekend at San Francisco. Backup Seneca Wallace made the 13th start of his seven-year career for Seattle on Sunday.
Nine-time Pro Bowl left tackle Walter Jones remained out following knee surgery last month. Middle linebacker Lofa Tatupu, cornerback Josh Wilson, offensive tackle Sean Locklear, fullback Justin Griffith and outside linebacker Leroy Hill were also inactive for Seattle.
Chicago was without Desmond Clark. The tight end broke a rib two weeks ago. Linebacker Pisa Tinoisamoa was out with a knee injury.
