ASHBURN, Va. (AP) -Washington Redskins defensive end Jason Taylor will miss next week's game against the Dallas Cowboys after undergoing a minor procedure on his calf.
Taylor was kicked in his left leg in the second quarter of Sunday's 24-17 victory over the Arizona Cardinals. He finished the game and tipped two passes during a crucial goal line stand in the second half, but the leg became sore Sunday night.
Taylor checked into a hospital early Monday morning and underwent a 20-minute procedure. The operation drained a pool of blood that had accumulated in the calf.
