IRVING, Texas (AP) – Dallas Cowboys tight end Jason Witten says he is feeling fine and has no headaches a day after hitting his head on the turf and being held out of the rest of the game by team doctors.
Witten expects to play at Houston next weekend.
Witten got hurt Sunday during the Cowboys’ 27-20 loss to the Chicago Bears. He was tackled and fell backward with his helmet slamming to the turf. He walked to the sideline, then unsuccessfully pleaded with doctors to let him back in the game.
Cornerback Mike Jenkins had an MRI on his right knee and says he feels good. Jenkins got tangled with up a receiver trying to block him and their knees collided.
