HOUSTON (AP) – The last of the original Houston Texans is being released.
The team has cut kicker Kris Brown, the only player remaining from the inaugural 2002 season.
Brown’s agent, Glenn Schwartzman confirmed the move Friday, which was first reported by Houston television station KRIV and the Houston Chronicle.
Brown lost a competition in training camp to Neil Rackers, who was signed in the offseason.
