RICHMOND, Va. (AP) -Michael Vick has arrived at a Virginia court so a judge can consider his bankruptcy plan to pay back more than $20 million he owes to creditors.
The plan was overwhelmingly approved in a ballot by the creditors and Judge Frank Santoro was set to consider the plan Thursday morning in Newport News.
Vick arrived with his fiancee. He did not talk to reporters, but signed a football for a Virginia Tech fan waiting outside.
After the hearing, Vick is scheduled to return to Philadelphia to make his debut with the Eagles in a preseason game.
Vick was released from federal custody July 20 after serving 18 months of a 23-month sentence for his role in running a dogfighting ring.
