CINCINNATI (AP) -Bengals coach Marvin Lewis had outpatient surgery Wednesday to repair torn tendons in his left ankle. Dr. Jim Amis, who performed the surgery, said there were no complications. Amis said Lewis will initially have a cast. ``He will be inconvenienced for some time due to lack of mobility, but he'll soon be able to resume his essential activities,'' Amis said in a statement. Assistant coach Paul Alexander is filling in for Lewis. |
