MIAMI (AP) -Suspended Cleveland Browns wide receiver Donte’ Stallworth will be allowed to leave home confinement to train with a strength and conditioning coach.
Miami-Dade Circuit Judge Dennis Murphy on Tuesday modified the conditions of Stallworth’s house arrest to allow him to go elsewhere to train five days a week.
Stallworth served 24 days of his 30-day jail sentence after pleading guilty to DUI manslaughter. He was also sentenced to two years’ home confinement.
He struck and killed a pedestrian early on March 14. Police said Stallworth had spent the night drinking at a nightclub in Miami.
Stallworth was suspended indefinitely by NFL commissioner Roger Goodell following the incident. He signed a seven-year, $35 million contract with the Browns before last season.
