CANTON, Ohio (AP) -Buffalo Bills owner Ralph Wilson has invited nearly everybody who’s ever worked for him to share in his Pro Football Hall of Fame induction. Bruce Smith has about 450 people on his guest list.
Add in Terrell Owens making his Bills debut in the Hall of Fame game Sunday, and it’s going to be a Buffalo bash of a weekend.
“It’s extremely important that no one is left out,” said Smith, the former Bills defensive end who holds the NFL record for career sacks.
Smith will be inducted on Saturday along with Wilson, linebacker Derrick Thomas, defensive back Rod Woodson, offensive tackle Randall McDaniel and receiver Bob Hayes.
Hall officials report 30 percent of enshrinement tickets sold have been purchased by fans from Buffalo telephone area codes.
