PITTSFORD, N.Y. (AP) -The Buffalo Bills have signed rookie first-round draft pick C.J. Spiller, finally getting the running back to training camp a little more than a week after it opened.
The Bills announced the deal Friday.
A person familiar with the contract has told The Associated Press said the contract includes just under $21 million in guaranteed money and is potentially worth $37 million if the player meets all incentives. The person spoke on the condition of anonymity because the Bills do not release contract terms.
Spiller was selected ninth overall out of Clemson. He was scheduled to arrive at camp in suburban Rochester in time for a night practice. He’s missed 11 practices since camp opened July 29.
