GREEN BAY, Wis. (AP) -Four days into training camp, new Green Bay Packers defensive coordinator Dom Capers believes his players are capable of making a successful transition to his 3-4 defensive alignment.
Now it’s just a question of doing everything right on every down.
Speaking to reporters for the first time at camp, Capers said Tuesday that the defense isn’t as consistent as it needs to be, though he sees signs of progress.
Capers, a former head coach in Carolina and Houston, was brought in to overhaul a defense that played a major role in the team’s 6-10 finish last season.
