Tony Dungy says he believes Michael Vick is focused on putting his life back together.
The Super Bowl-winning former coach has agreed to mentor Vick as part of the quarterback’s conditional reinstatement to the NFL.
In a post on his blog Tuesday, Dungy said Vick has priorities beyond football, which include reconnecting with his three children. Dungy met with Vick in federal prison in May while the former Atlanta Falcons star was serving an 18-month term for running a dogfighting ring.
The one-time Indianapolis Colts coach says he thinks people will eventually see there’s a different side to Vick.
