TEMPE, Ariz. (AP) -The Arizona Cardinals have signed third-round pick wide receiver Andre Roberts to a four-year contract.
Terms were not disclosed Thursday.
To make room on the roster for Roberts, the Cardinals released defensive end Ryan Kees. He spent two weeks on the Cardinals’ practice squad last season and was re-signed on Jan. 18.
With two weeks to go before Arizona players report to training camp in Flagstaff, Roberts becomes the fourth of the Cardinals’ seven draftees in April to come to contract terms.
Roberts set school records at The Citadel for career receptions (285), yards receiving (3,743), receiving touchdowns (37), 100-yard receiving games (17), punt return yards (1,160), punt return average (13.9) and all-purpose yards (5,215).
