NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) – The Tennessee Titans have selected their second defensive player of the NFL Draft, taking outside linebacker Deiontrez Mount of Louisville.
The Titans took Mount at No. 177 overall with the first pick of the sixth round. It’s their first of two picks in the round.
Mount visited the Titans before the draft, and he will help their outside pass rush. The 6-foot-5, 249-pound linebacker played four seasons at Louisville where he had 18 tackles for loss and 9 1/2 sacks in his career. Five of those sacks came last year as a senior in 13 games.
The Titans also took defensive tackle Angelo Blackson with the first pick in the fourth round.
