EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. (AP) -The New York Giants have signed offensive tackle Andrew Carnahan off waivers.
Carnahan spent the previous two seasons with the Jacksonville Jaguars and Kansas City Chiefs, but he did not play a regular-season game. He was a seventh-round draft choice of the Jaguars in 2007, but was waived at the end of training camp and spent the year on Jacksonville’s practice squad.
Carnahan was waived again by Jacksonville at the end of last season’s training camp, then did two stints on the practice squad before he was signed by the Chiefs on Oct. 28. He was inactive for all nine games; Kansas City waived him Tuesday.
He played at Arizona State, starting all 37 games in which he played.
